I have had this stapler for a couple of years and am greatly disappointed. I have used Arrow tools for years and this is the first to prove incapable of doing the job. On soft pine it would not even drive a 1/2" staple more that an 1/8 of an inch. I bought this to make installing insulation easier, but had to go back to using spring loaded staplers. It is nothing more than a paper weight with a pig tail.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Typically, we recommend choosing the shortest staple possible to achieve the 3/16-inch to 1/4-inch penetration needed for a secure hold. Great for upholstering

So i can watch football while she make upholstering loll. Seriously great tool easy to use and look really solid and tough.

So much better than Bostich!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a Bostich electric staple gun for years and hated it from day one. My wife gave me a couple of projects around the house and it gave me a good excuse to finally get rid of it.
I bought this and after the very first 10 staples I knew it was a far better tool. Thank you, Arrow, for making a tool that works the way it's supposed to work. Easy, smooth, and accurate.

Easy on your hands

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used a manual stapler for the last several years it was such a pleasure to step up to an electric one. When you start to get older simple little things can sometimes become difficult and keeping a stapler against the surface of the what you're stapling and applying the pressure with middle-aged hands sometimes requires a little help. This really took the burden off of the continuous squeezing and squeezing to apply staples to your project. I'm very happy to own this and I would recommend it to anybody especially as you approach middle age you'll find this to be a handsaver.

Save my hand!

This weekend we were finishing our chicken coop and I was using s hammer to pound in Staples and then used the old fashioned staple gun, buty hand and wrist started to hurt, so we went and bought the electric one. What a Time saver and super easy to use!

Bought the t50acd brand new from big box store. Needed it for an important project. Unit would not even power up at all.
