[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this for stapling my carpet pad. Good stapler. It got me through the job. it will probably be a great stapler for chores where not having to staple to a soft surface. The safety tongue that has to be depressed by the surface being stapled would not depress far enough for the stapler to fire. I had to press very hard against the surface to get it to work. Also, the motor takes a while to reset in order to fire another stapler. Would prefer a faster response. on a firm surface this will probably be a great tool for small projects.
