Re covering a chair which requires many staples. Old staples were half inch but this new stapler could not get the staples to go all the way in. Changed to 3/8” and they work. Hope they still work when I get to the fabric and foam.

Hello, there. Thanks for taking time to share your thoughts on the T50ACD Compact Electric Staple Gun. For all projects, we always recommend using the shortest staple possible to achieve a secure hold of about 3/16-inch to 1/4-inch into the surface. Likely the 3/8-inch staple was all that was needed to get this penetration for the chair project being worked on. However, we would like to touch base to make sure there were no other issues at play, so please look for an email from us today!

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally purchased this product to stable some leather furniture together, but found other uses use as stapling the back of pictures with backing. Truly a great product.
