Good basic electric stapler

Purchased this to replace lost Arrow stapler I'd had for years. This one seems to work fine- only had a few days so we'll see how it lasts, but I've always had good experiences with Arrow products. A little more difficult to use because of the little safety thing that prevents firing unless it is seated hard and square (firing at an angle into tight spots is semi-impossible), but this is about the worst thing I can say. It is comfortable in the hand and reloads easily. Decent stapler.
Pros: Crafting, insulation, Upholstery

This stapler is solid. It is however a bit slow to cycle and slows down a big stapling job ( underfloor insulation. The safety interlock requires more pressure and a flat surface than is practical for my current project. That being said, the stapler feels solid, durable, and dependable. 5521

Our T50ACD staple gun was not designed to fire quickly but rather to employ the consistent driving power of Spiral Drive technology to eliminate the electrical current fluctuation commonly experienced with solenoid-driven models. However, it does fire at a rate of 90 shots per minute versus the traditional solenoid electric tool, which averages 30 shots per minute. In regards to the contact safety, you are correct that it must be fully depressed before the staples will fire. Getting this tool to function as designed, though, is typically more of a matter of positioning versus force or pressure. Being aware of the size and placement of the contact safety, and then placing the tool accordingly, can make a big difference.
