easy to use for me whose hands are becoming arthritic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this stapler. I have been using a manual stapler and it has become too difficult for my hands to "pull the trigger." I was covering dining room chairs and it took me one day per chair. After I bought this stapler I did all four in an afternoon. I should have bought one a couple years ago.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Why have I not had one of these for years? I have had a few staple guns over the years and never enjoyed working with them. This electric gun makes the work much faster. Has not jammed, easy to load, and easy to operate. The design still has the flaws of a manual version where a staple cannot be shot into an inside corner, and if the gun is not held tightly against the work (two hands), the staple does not penetrate fully into the wood. These are limitations of staple guns manual or electric. The safety feature of having to pull back between each staple is good for safety, but a couple of times, I thought the gun was broken when I just needed to pull back and let the safety reset. The staple gauge lets you see when you are running low; this is a nice feature. I really like the feel of the handle vs. the manual squeeze guns. No more pain shooting the staples, just line it up, press down and pull the trigger. I also enjoy the ease of use with only simple switches. On/Off and a trigger, no dials, knobs, or adjustments are required. It would be easier to use if you didn't have to press so hard for the staple to completely penetrate the project (into the wood for my particular project).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i tried several other staplers before getting this one and this is the only that got my upholstery project done. It had the power behind it to go into very hard pressed wood. Being electric made it almost effortless. i highly recommend the T50ACD.

Works well for upholstery work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use it in the home to do upholstery work for all diferent kinds of projects. The latest is reupholstering the seats on a horse cart. We are stapling through a layer of clear plastic and cow hide. The wood is very hard, so the staples don't go all the way in. They have to be tapped with a hammer. We were using a hand staple gun with the same results, but a much more tired hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used a few electric staplers in my life and have been disappointed by all of them to some degree. Unfortunately this one is no exception. The build quality is good, but like all of the staplers I've used it has a propensity to jam, shoot multiple staples at once and seldom embeds the staples at consistent depths. Plus this one is a bit heavier than others I've used which makes it rather tiring when laying on your back to staple insulation up in between floor joists.
