[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 2 unsuccessful attempts to do reupholstering of dining room chairs with our current staple guns, we purchased the T50ACD.
The design of this electric stapler makes it comfortable to use. I liked the feature that you must depress the contact safety prior to shooting each staple. Although you need to exert sufficient pressure to activate the process, this electric stapler enables you to do the work with much less effort.

Easy to Use, But Design Limits Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well made and sturdy, and it operates easy and as advertised. But... the operating manual has very poor/small illustrations and poorly written directions. It took me a while, and the use of a YouTube video, to figure out how to load the staples. I purchased the stapler to help ease the installation of 250 sq. ft. of tongue and groove ceiling tiles. Problem is, with the 'contact safety' positioned where it is, you're not able to staple very close to a vertical edge. With my manual stapler I could get within an 1/8" of the tile surface when stapling on the 'tongue', but with this stapler I could only get within 3/8", which puts the staple too close to the edge (see picture, manual stapler to left, T50ACD to right). I ended up using a manual stapler for the whole ceiling. I'm sure this stapler would work great on a flat surface, or for upholstery work, but for ceiling tiles, it wasn't the right choice.
