[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has enough mass to absorb and kick from the stapler driver so it does not have to be pushed hard into the work to fully drive the staple.
Like the grip which if you have small hands might seem fat, but I have large hands and the grip on the machine is very comfortable.
The main reason I got this stapler was to eliminate the need to press a handle to drive the staple. Give the trigger a light pull and bingo, it drives the staple. Very nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] but my hardware store didn't stock it. This works fine. There's a momentary hesitation after you pull the trigger before it drives the staple, as if it's compressing a spring. Used this to replace screens after my dog tore them out again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am working on a project that involves upholstery. I was having trouble with the mechanical staple gun. I was unable to hold the material tight and still have enough strength to squeeze the handle. But with the electric stapler it was no problem. It was a pleasure to use and I recommend it highly.
