Easy on the hands

This stapler does everything it's advertised to do. Easy to load staples and simple to operate. T50 staples are easy to find at most stores. Versatile tool.

Poor performance

For hard surfaces, it works well, but when I tried using it to staple some 1/8" thick foam, it almost never fires without me pressing so hard that the foam gets damaged. The problem is that there is a safety lever on the tip that must be fully pressed in before the staple gun fires. The designers made it so that it takes a lot of force to push in the safety lever. If the surface you are stapling to isn't really hard, the safety lever won't push in and the gun won't fire. Even 1/8" thick foam over a hard surface is soft enough to make the gun not work. Really disappointing. I thought stapling soft things like foam, fabric, etc. was pretty common. I would think that the designers would have thought of that.

We take providing safe products to our customers very seriously, which is why there is a contact safety switch on the tool that must be fully depressed before the staples will fire. Getting this tool to function as designed is typically more of a matter of positioning versus force, so being aware of the size and placement of the contact safety, and then placing the tool accordingly can make a big difference. I was very happy with my staple gun, just wish it had gripper teeth to hold it a little more steady with fabric. Can't wait to tackle more projects now that I no longer have to use a manual stapler.

this staple gun replaced my craftsman gun that i had for 20 years, this gun is much more comfortable to hold and use than craftsman was i love this gun, im a customer for life, thank you for making an outstanding product.
