T50 ACD upgrade

As with everyone we all have the old tried and true manual T50 , as you get older time to add to the collection I purchased the T50 ACD for doing the padding in one of my offices at work Very happy with how it worked and look forward to many years of use

Underpowered

I had great hope for the Arrow T50ACD Corded Electric Staple Gun. I was trying to staple a thin piece to Sunbrella fabric to a 1/8" thick plastic. The gun just didn't have enough power to drive the recommended Arrow T50 1/4" staple. Yes, I did depress the contact safety on the front of the tool before pressing the trigger. The gun may be better suited to softer material like balsa wood or OCB but not for anything hard.

Replacement and reupholstery

Purchased this as a replacement for an old powershot which lost its staple power due to age. Used it for dining chair reupholstery. It did well with 1/4 inch staples in medium hard wood. I did have to re-staple some areas where the staple did not launch straight. You do have to ensure the staple gun is flat to the surface you are working. Overall great for what I needed. It could use just a little more power, but that is just my preference.

Easy to use , (1117)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it to reupholster kitchen chairs a couple of weeks ago. It had no problem sinking a 3/8 staple into MDF and thick vinyl . Sped up the job and hands did not get sore from squeezing the trigger like on a manual stapler.
