Good for 3/8" but did not work with 1/2" staples.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice stapler and works great with Arrow 3/8 inch staples.It does not work with the Arrow 1/2 inch staples. The 1/2 inch staples do not go into the wood all the way and are deformed which requires them to be pulled with a small screw driver and pliers. When looking at the difference between the two staples, I can see the 3/8 inch staples are cut to a sharp point at the end which facilitates penetration into the wood. The 1/2 " staples are flat at the end so there is too much resistance from the wood and they do not penetrate. I also tried 9/16 staples which have the sharp point, but the stapler will not even puch there. The tolerance for the plunger is very tight and will not handle anything larger than 1/2" staples. You also must be very careful to hold the stapler exactly perpendicular to the surface being stapled or else the staples come out malformed! Overall I like the stapler, but I wish it worked with 1/2 inch staples.

Love I so much I sleep with it under my pillow. my husband is mad at me because I keep stapling his clothes to the wall so all his flowery aprons hav small holes in them which makes it hard for him to bake soufflés in a mess-free manner. I use the stapler at work to staple my documents together, Jerry from accounting can't steal my reports anymore! Because they're stuck to the table and or walls. Also use it to staple my lunch bag together, which some have described as "excessive" and "counterintuitive" because I have to keep buying new lunch bags and can't get them open. 10/10 except for the color. Wish it was sparkly and pink to match the pen I'm signing my divorce papers with. Of course I staple them together with the Arrow T50ACD Corded Electric Staple Gun.
