For outdoor weatherproofing and vapor layers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've purchased two of these staplers—not because one failed, but because the first served me so well that I picked one up for a family member. I'd done some research on force and longevity and, though I preferred the idea of something cordless, the T50ACD couldn't be beaten for reliability and steady power at the price. I drove a few hundred staples though 6 mil plastic sheeting while weatherproofing a patio. The gun didn't overheat or jam. At times I wished the magazine had a slightly higher capacity, but overall it beat hand driving them and was lighter than other options. If you have an extension cord to run it outside and don't have a compressor handy, it's great quality for the price. This one is useful for indoor jobs, too, and it's not intimidating to other family members who don't use actual power tools.

Didn't live up to my expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a functional Arrow T50 manual stapler but purchased this one with the hope of making the job easier and to ensure the staples would go into the wood better. Turns out, the manual stapler did a better job of getting the staples into the wood. I thought the electric stapler would have more power than the manual stapler but it didn't.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
