great replacement for the old one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very happy with this new staple gun. I replaced an old Arrow electric staple gun that has given me 30+ years of reliable service. For this reason I chose to stay with Arrow products for the replacement. I was a contractor for many years and am now retired, but I expect the same level of service from my tools. This new stapler is better in many ways than the old model, The action seems smoother and I get less impact when firing and it is easier to load. Perhaps I shouldn't have waited for the old one to break (trigger broke and I couldn't find replacement part).
Pros: General Repairs, insulation, Upholstery, Wiring, who knows when you might need a stapler?

Good for storm window plastic

I use this stapler in a wide variety of DIY projects in the home and on the farm. We moved to a new (and remote) location about a year ago and Arrow is the only brand that was available. I already had a stapler of another brand that I liked a lot, but I could not buy staples locally. I bought the Arrow stapler as I needed to finish a project without waiting to buy staples online and wait for delivery. I was impressed with this T-50ACD stapler. It is a versatile and does a good job. My only complaint, and the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that I occasionally need to follow behind the stapling with a small hammer and finish driving the staples in. I generally use 3/8" staples, and I admit some of the wood I'm stapling is pretty hard. That said, I misplaced the stapler and my solution was to buy a second T-50ACD. Of course I found the first one a couple of days later. Now I have one for around the house and another in the barn. Most of my tools are battery, but I don't mind running an electric cord to where I need staples.
