Good for reupholstering our kitchen chair seats.

The T50ACD was great for getting through the thick material and into the thick backing board. Tried using a hand held stapler but didn’t have good results. The electric stapler made the job easier and faster.

No more hand cramps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the fact that it's electric, so I don't have to wear my hands out trying to make sure the staples go in all the way. No staples come with the unit, it comes totally empty, so you can't actually use it unless you buy staples separately. The staple gun is for light use only, definitely not for commercial work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacement for an older rrow electric stapler. Love the design of the new one much better. Easy handling, easy loading of the staples. Wished it had a little bit more power to drive the staples, but certainly does a great job with my upholstery product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this staple gun for installing insulation between joist for sound suppression. It's simple to use and is powerful enough to drive the staples flush into the joist. I really appreciate the safety, it prevents the gun from firing when it's not against the item being stapled and prevents accidental discharge. I've always used Arrow products due to their commitment to quality and durability. I highly recommend this product.

Not enough power for reupholstery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice design and handling, quiet. Good enough for crafts perhaps but not enough power for the reupholstery project I bought it for. The chair seats have plywood base and staples only were driven in half way.

We're sorry to hear that your staple gun isn't working as you expected. We recommend placing a hand on top of the tool when firing for extra force. Also make sure the contact safety tip is fully depressed before firing.

Recovering cat trees with carpet or fabric

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Compact Electric Staple Gun, T50ACD is easy to use, is not noisy, and works for many household projects. We just recovered a cat scratching "wave" with jute mats. the 3/8" staples were just right. Next, we are going to be recovering two of the cats scratching posts. The shredded carpet has to go! We are using a cotton batting backing and an upholstery fabric covering. The ease of moving and angling the T50ACD will make it a much easier process than using rope or more carpet. We'll use 1/2"-5/8" staples depending on the layering of the fabrics. We expect great results without extreme effort of disappointment. We had an old corded gun that just gave up the ghost after 30 years. We anticipate the same or longer life for this gun. Thank you Arrow, for such a great product.
