New to upholstery repair...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to reupholster our kitchen counter height chairs. I was originally using a manual stapler and getting mixed results. I did some research and came across the Arrow T50ACD.
This is much better. The tool feels solid and the staples (after you get the right size), held firm for my project. I originally got staples that were too long but once I got the right size, all is good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The T50 ACD worked well for stapling wires onto wood surface. Nice safety feature, it wouldn’t staple if something was blocking the staple.

Carpeting stairs worked great

Safety mechanism neuters this tool!

I went back to my hand crippling manual stapler after usung T50ACD for five minutes. Tedius and frustrating. There is a safety mechanism on the mouth of the stapler - if not aligned perfectly and depressed flush with a flat surface, it will not fire. I was repositioning 5 - 7 times for each staple. And , there is no indicator - no light or beep that let’s you know it’s lined up right. There isn’t even a light to show it’s on. Very frustrating and impractical if using on anything other than a wide open, perfectly flat surface. 2 stars

An excellent stapler choice for my project

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first powered stapler. I had a picture to mount in my motorhome. I could not hang it on a hook on the wall and I did not want to drive holes in the wall as well. I wanted to use 3M command strips, but this adhesive backing on the command strips did not stick securely enough to the frame. So, as an alternative, I covered the backside of the Frame with 3/4" Velcro adhesive tape and stapled the Velcro to the frame with 3/8" T50 staples. The stapes needed to be flush with the Velcro surface so that I could attach the command strips to the Velcro fabric, This stapler worked flawlessly. I fired a total of 60 staples without a single jam, and each staple fired achived full depth, not one miss in the bunch. I could not have achived the desired result without the use of this tool.
