Strong stapler but with limitations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stapler to install rolled, fiberglass insulation. It has a strong motor and drives the staple in to the correct depth, even on the hardest parts of the lumber. It seems to be well made and is comfortable to hold. However, the safety in the nose makes it very difficult (sometimes impossible) to staple insulation flanges in any area that is smaller than the stapler's height. Also, in corners that meet at less than a 90 degree angle you absolutely cannot use the stapler because, since the safety cannot be depressed, the stapler will not fire. The stapler that this one replaced - an old electric Swingline - had no safety and it would sink staples in the tightest places. It's really too bad that an otherwise excellent stapler would be, essentially, hobbled by the safety switch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TheT50ACD was perfect for my project. I had to repair a sofa recliner which required removing the fabric which was stapled to the frame. I made the repairs and used this stapler to reattach the fabric. Very easy to use and professional looking.

Light upholstery work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a much needed improvement over my industrial manual stapler. It takes the pressure off my hands and improves my accuracy. I use it for making cornice boards and light upholstery. I can make it through about 3 layers of fabric. It didn't quite work through a heavy weight trim piece but I was able to work around it without compromising the cornice. Also works easily through cardboard tack strip.
