Bought to reupholster chairs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to reupholster my dining room chairs, works well and makes the job easier then if I used a hand stapler. Only downfall is you have to push quite hard for the staple to go in fully.

Great for Wingback Chair reupholster!

great for hanging Christmas lights

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the first Christmas in my home I spent hours hanging lights up with a manual staple gun. when the next year came around, I went out and bought one of these. it made the lights amazingly simple to hang. I was done in 30 minutes vs 2 hours from the previous Christmas.
I have also taken it with me to the range and used it to staple targets down. it was made anything staple related exponentially easier.

Prefer over Dewalt.

I prefer this stapler over the Dewalt brand I have used in the past. The Dewalt kept on jamming on me and so far I have not had any issues with this gun.

Arrow Electric Stapler.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed an air gun stapler. Instead found the electric stapler for doing upholstering. No compressor and air line needed. Two thumbs up. I found 1/2" staples too long for particle board on the bottoms of the seats. 3/8" staples worked A1. Project successfully completed.

Poor quality

I bought the stapler last year. I previously had a spring type Arrow stapler that lasted over 25 years and that experience was key to me buying this electric one. Just today I decided to use it for the first time to install bird netting. I filled it with a row of T50 staples but before one third of the row was used, the stapler quit working. There wasn't a jammed staple. I checked the extension cord and plugged the stapler directly into several sockets, but it remained dead. As a last resort, I decided to take the housing apart hoping I'd see something obvious. What I found was the gear housing had come away from the motor. It looked like a simple fix and after reattaching the gear housing and reassembling the whole thing, it still doesn't work. Now I'm faced with getting another stapler so I can finish what I started. Disappointing.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
