Very pleased with the T50ACD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this electric stapler anticipating that its' performance would be very good given I was also purchasing Arrow staples. I was correct. It is easy to operate and, as importantly for me, far easier on the hands than a non-electric alternative.

Superior Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an older model Arrow electric stapler with the T50ACD. It is a far superior product. This model NEVER jams and ALWAYS drives the staple completely in (unlike the older model, which caused constant grief). It also has a safety, so that the trigger will not fire unless the head of the gun is depressed by placing against wood or some other object. And it has an on/off switch. Another great feature is the easy staple loading mechanism which, once again, is far superior to the older models. Kudos to Arrow for designing a much better power tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this for recovering dining room chair seats. I used 1/2 inch staples and 3/8 inch staples. Handle was great for grip and pressure hold.

Chose the T50ACD over the cordless because I'd likely only use it where AC is convenient. The trigger mechanism was easy and caused no fatigue during use. Much easier than the manual I had been using for years. I used 3/8" staples to upholster batting and vinyl to plywood seats. There is no depth adjustment on the tool leaving 1/16th to 1/32nd inch proud of flush, but I was able to drive them all home in a few seconds with a hammer. I would absolutely recommend it for the hobbyist or DIYer. But I'd opt for an adjustable depth cordless unit for professionals.

Comfortable to use

The T50ACD was very easy to use in reupholstering 4 dining room chairs. The safety features are effective without getting in the way of function. in some older staple guns the recoil made accurate placement of staples difficult. This model allowed easy accurate placement even in tight areas.

Upholstered kitchen chairs was a breeze
