Good for chair reupholstery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Arrow T50ACD purchased at my local ACE Hardware store gave me the power I needed to complete a DIY reupholstery project. At first I did need to tap some staples in a bit. However, following helpful guidelines in the user manual, pressing down on the top of the stapler with my free hand did a superior job. I'm a bit disappointed in the cheap plastic housing. I do think it will hold up for my home projects.

Great for dining room upholstery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first attempt to recover anything, just learning about it by reading and watching videos. This staple gun is a good middle ground between one with no automation, which would be really hard for me (female, small hands), and a pneumatic one which my project didn't warrant. Overall it worked great. My hand barely got sore, and only after the 6th chair seat.
I do wish the gun had a window or other indicator of how many staples were left in it. Many times I had the faux leather pulled to the right spot and pulled the trigger only to find out it was empty. Of course it's easy enough to open the slide part and check.

I purchased this stapler for my bar stool project. I needed to add fresh padding as well as indoor/outdoor fabric. I used 3/8" staples and it was perfect. The fabric was not very stretchy so it took all my strength in my hands to pull and hold the fabric while grabbing for the stapler. This tool was perfect for the job. Fast and comfortable in my hand. I wished I had bought one years ago.
