Good for many simple projects. Much easier that trying to use a manual staple gun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mostly liked this stapler and used it to reupholster two bar stools. I did find that the plywood used with the seats of these bar stools seemed to be much harder than I expected. I originally was going to use 3/8" or longer staples, but the gun wouldn't fully seat staples and so I went with 5/16" staples. Later I tried using 1/2" staples on pine and redwood and it easily drove those staples fully in. In fact, on the redwood it buried the 1/2" staple under the surface of the wood. I will use this stapler on future projects, but probably not on one with hardwood - or cabinet/furniture grade plywood. But, after removing about 220 to 250 staples from each bar stool, to get the old dust cover, piping strip, and seat material off, I hope to not reupholster anything else in the future.
