Powerful and easy to load and use. Comfortable in your hand. Cord can be a little stiff but usually this is not a real problem

Did not perform as expected

I purchased this staple gun because 3 other brands had failed me. This one started off pretty good, but then after about 20 minutes, it started double-firing staples, and at the end of the job I had to sweep up all the staples. I purchased it to install insulation. The staples did not sink flush and need to be hammered in. I figured Arrow was known as a company for its staplers and staples. I guess I have to keep searching for a stapler that really works.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You should place a hand on top of the stapler when firing to ensure fully penetration of the staples. Also be sure you're using the best staple length for the application, which is explained on p. 9.

I Can Upholster Again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I've gotten older, my long-time hobby of furniture upholstery has gotten more difficult to pursue, because operating a manual stapler has gotten harder on my hands. This electric stapler is the perfect answer - it requires relatively little hand effort, and drives staples exactly where I want them to go. I was a little skeptical that this machine would be as easy to load and operate as a manual stapler used to be, but it really is easy - no hassles at all. I am able to upholster when I want to, for as long as I want to, with no "breaks" due to hand problems. I'm very happy I bought this! 1117
