Good for dyi type projects around the home.

I considered several automatic stapler options available at the home centers in my area and also went online to get recommendations for a quality light duty stapler. I settled on this one based on online recommendations. So far so good, but still weighing my options. When using a 1/2" staple it struggles to get the staple all the way into the wood (it was a softer wood). I needed to finish with a hammer. Hopefully I'll keep this tool.

Great stapler for reupholstering!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stapler worked great for our reupholstering of 12 chairs. The price was very reasonable. It was very consistent with the depth of each staple on every shot. I will be able to tackle bigger jobs with the larger staples.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Electric Staple Gun - T50ACD I just bought from Shipton's Big R in Hardin, MT blew me away due to how powerful it is. I was very surprised when I pulled the trigger switch on it and it drove the 3/8" staple through a thick area rug, linoleum and into a solid hardwood floor without a problem at all. I have to say it works perfect and I'm very please with it's performance big time.

Upholstering benches

A project for my wife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife recently purchased a special table for her sewing projects that needed a cover. I pulled out my manual staple gun and really struggled to get through all the fabric folds. I went to my local supplier to purchase something stronger. I had gone online and read wonderful reviews of the Arrow T50ACD electric staple gun. I purchased one and brought it home and WOW...what a difference between the Arrow and my old manual. The staples went into some pretty hard...I think it was birch...wood with no problem at all. The job went super smoothly and when my wife showed her friends a picture of the finished project they all raved about it. My only minor concern was that when I came close to the end of the first load of staples, the gun started making a whining noise as I finished out the last few staples. Once I put more staples in the gun the whine continued for about the first 3-4 staples and then the gun went back to it's normal crack as it drove the staples in. I am hoping that this is just because the staple gun is new and that the whining sound is just a fluke. Other than that I love the Arrow T50ACD. Can't wait to use it again.
