Great stapler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a manual stapler, however, I was just beginning a series of large upholstery projects and saw this stapler and bought it. I was trying to avoid the inevitable cramping of my hand while I stapled hundreds and hundreds of times manually. This fit the bill. No cramps at all and very quick indeed. My only complaint is that sometimes you have to double pump the trigger to get a staple to come out and it is a little temperamental with the angle in order for the safety mechanism to allow a staple to come out. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Great for upholstery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this staple gun to reupholster my dining room chairs. The stapler is easy to load, and easy to use. It easily drove all of the staples fully into the wood. I would definitely recommend this stapler to anyone doing upholstery work.

Kind of heavy and not consistent when stapling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this item because I needed a tool that I could use for upholstery. Was not very satisfied when the staples would not go into the wood completely and had to use a hammer to pound down staple rest of way. Also, heavy and not easy to use.

Hello, Karen. We're sorry you were disappointed by your experience with Arrow's T50ACD Compact Electric Staple Gun. Two tips often help when trying to drive the staples flush to the surface. First, choose the shortest staple possible for the project materials. This is especially important when firing into a hard wood, like plywood or MDF. Second, placing one hand on the top of the tool while firing can also increase penetration. In regards to the weight of the tool, the T50ACD was designed within the average 2.3-4 lb. weight of professional electric tools, but at 3 lbs., it may be heavier than some other staple guns. Good tool for home use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this product because I needed a stapler that would be strong enough for upholstery (outdoor furniture) and insulation (Kraft faced) installation. It was comfortable (padded grip) to use, easy to load and handled the tasks without problems. The on/off switch located near the loading point was an extra added safety feature.
I would recommend this product for the do-it-yourself home owner as well as professional contractors.
