I bought this to re-upholster our dining room chairs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the perfect tool for our job. The chairs were solid oak and we used 1/2 inch staples. This was my first upholstering job. I was so glad my husband insisted on buying this electric staple gun instead of trying to use his manual gun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works well. The sound and feel are not as jerky as the other brand - you hear and feel the motor working instead of the jolt from a solenoid. The other brand started breaking the plastic parts inside - that’s not as likely to happen with this design. You have to be sure to firmly press the stapler against the surface and lift it away between staples. Otherwise the stapler won’t fire. That’s a good safety feature but you really need to press it firmly against the surface. That’s a good idea anyway to get a good tight stapling job.I used another brand of staples that fit OK, but the row of staples was too long for this stapler so I had to break off a few staples to load the stapler. Probably best to stick with Arrow staples for that reason.

Great for upolstery work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The T50ACD electric staple gun is a great time saver and hand saver. I've been stapling by hand using the standard T50 stapler. Don't get me wrong, the T50 is great, but I recently had a job to re-cover a bunch of padded wrist rests. The electric stapler is great. Made work fast. No fatigue issues. Staples were consistent. I'm not sure why I've been using a manual stapler all these years. Even if I only did these craft jobs once in a great while, there's just no comparison to the ease of the electric stapler. Maybe I need to upgrade to the T50AC if that model can strike harder. Or just own both.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the Powershot T50ACD was easy to use and not too hard to pull the trigger. My husband has a non eletcric stapple gun I cant pull the trigger anymore. Never had a problem with this gun. I am very pleased with this staple gun.
