Easy to use but....

The first one I bought failed right out of the box. The second one works fine but I feel like it could use a bit more force. The staples seem like they are not fully seated.

Best for hobbies, not real work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up this electric stapler, hoping it would make my insulation install faster and easier than manually stapling. At first I was impressed by the quality and design. It feels pretty good in the hand, the trigger is easy enough to pull and the stapler doesn't weigh too much. (I was insulating a ceiling all day holding the stapler over my head)
However, after about 500-700 staples it started giving me issues. The staples would only shoot in about half way or upon pulling the trigger the stapler would stutter. I could hear the motor inside try to turn over but it wouldn't make a full cycle. I'd release the stapler and trigger, press it against the material again and pull the trigger and it would fire.
This became a pattern until this day, every time I want to staple something I have to press the stapler down, hit the trigger, release the trigger and repress the stapler before pulling the trigger a second time just to fire one staple.
Over all, for upholstery or craft projects with little abuse I think this stapler would be fine, but the store I bought it from was advertising its use for insulation and construction work, which in my experience is very misleading. It is clear that this stapler was never intended for all day use or any sort of work place abuse. The exterior sure can take a beating but the internals seem to quickly develop issues after constant use.
Great for small projects but not recommended for all day work.

Now that I have it, I realize I needed this years ago. Saves me time, no longer have a sore hand/arm after using the manual version, no slammed fingers from swinging the long handles & misjudging the distance, simply pop pop pop, DONE!
