reupholstering chair cushions

The T50ACD was perfect to go thru multiple fabric and vinyl/pleather layers on 8 chair cushions without 1 jam!!

Good on soft wood only

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to reupholster my dining room chairs. I first tested it out on a scrap piece of pine,...no problem, drove it flush. I then started using it to reupholster my dining room chairs, that have a 1/4 plywoot seat bottom. The stapler was not able to penetrate the plywood, and mangled most of the staples. I had to follow up by hammering in most of the staples, leaving a lot of jagged edges that I had to redo. So, I returned this and bought the Arrow pneumatic stapler that I used with my pancake compressor and...worked perfectly, flush every time! So, bottom line, unless the one I bought was defective, it's a decent stapler for soft woods, but not necessarily for harder woods.
Pros: Upholstery

With regards to your experience with the T50ACD, on hard surfaces, firing recoil may interfere with staple penetration, so firmly placing one hand on top of the stapler to enhance driving power helps. It's also important to make sure the staple length you're using is the correct length for penetrating both the upholstery fabric and the wood.

It staples

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this stapler as a Christmas gift because everyone around didn't like using a manual stapler, It seems to staple, so really not much else to say about that, wished i could just hold the trigger and slap fire but it seems to work, kinda worried about the plastic construction as when I opened the package the plastic had frillys still left on it from the cutouts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works for my project. Building bat houses. The stapler fastens the climbing mesh inside the houses. Drives the staples deep into the pallet wood I'm using. It's a keeper.
