Less powerful than I had hoped.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had purchased this staple gun for an upholstery project. The fabric was a thin vinyl stapled to a pine plywood board. I wanted to use a 3/8" staple, but I had to drop down to a 5/16" staple. When the gun successfully drove the staple into the plywood without the tines collapsing (about half the time) the staple did not fully embed and had to be finished with a hammer. I am a woodworker and only occasionally build projects which require upholstery. If I decide to do more upholstery projects, I will probably invest in a high-quality pneumatic staple gun.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good for re doing boat trailer bunks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The very first time I used the Powershot T50ACD I was blown away at how easy it was and how quickly I get my job done. I've never used an electric stapler before so imagine my surprise when I finished putting the final section of plastic sheeting over my back porch screen room! I will recommend this product over any major projects using a manual stapler.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was easy to use and powerful. Took some time to get use to it. The bottom loading is a bit of a problem. It pinched my hand a couple of times and open by itself a couple of times. When I finally got the hang of it worked good. Good tool for the price paid. Used to reupholstered some bar stool chairs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this electric stapler because I was wanting a stapler that was not hard to fire the staples in wood. It provides accuracy in placement of the staples and it is very easy to use. My hands are not as strong as they used to be and manual staplers are harder to squeeze and harder to get the staple in accurately and all the way down.
