[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] use 1/2, and it did the job perfectly, I've been using my T-50 stapler for over 45 years, and it still works fine, but I'm no young kid and the force needed to apply to the manual stappler is too much adking for my old hands, so I decided to update to hhis eclectric one, I will pass it on to my son later on, and perhaps he will enjoy it as much as I did.
Pros: Flooring, insulation, Upholstery

great foe dining room chair reupholstering. product has great features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the power shot t50hs was super helpful for our reupholstering project on our dining room chairs. WE used 1/2 inch t50 staples. Fabric was thick and shorter staples would not hold.. Didn`t want to longer than necessary. project went well and chairs look great.
