doesnt work for installing ceiling tiles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this product thinking it would be a saver on installation of ceiling tiles. it was impossible to use for that job due to fact that the staple ceiling tile tab is 1/2 inch, and the distance from the nose edge of the staple gun’s housing to the staple exit point on the tool is also 1/2 inch. this results in the staple from the tool not engaging the ceiling tile tab. the tool may work fine where there is sufficient clearance. Ended up having to use a manual staple gun.
Pros: ceiling tile installation
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for upholstery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 70 years old and have arthritis in my hands. I knew that it would be too painful to use my old manual staple gun on an upholstery project. The Lowes salesman advised me to get this model. It is easy to use and load, the directions were clear, and it has good safety features. Wish I had one of these 50 yrs. ago!!!

Great for Upholstering Dining Chairs

I’ve never used any type of staple gun however this one was very user-friendly after figuring out how to add the staples! -I don’t like ready directions.... it helped us finish our project quickly and we did a great job saying it was my first time using a tool like this and recovering chairs.

Great for hanging insulation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hung insulation in my garage worked great. This electric staple gun is so much easier to use than the old manual type. I have used the manual type occasionally for over 20 years to hang insulation. I finally decided to get a power one. It is much faster using the electric one
