Cannot be used to staple foam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has a safety switch that must be depressed to use this product. The safety switch does not depress on soft materials like foam, which is what I bought it for.
You must read the instructions to use, not intuitive.
Very low cost. If you are using this for wood or other hard materials then recommended.
Pros: insulation
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

However, we do test are products internally and by end users for functionality. Typically, engaging the safety is more a matter of positioning than force, but it can be more difficult to engage the safety when working with a softer material. Love the features compared to my old one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like the contact safety, my old stapler safety was a slide lever on the handle which would turn on when if it was stored wrong so when the stapler was plug the next time, it would go off. Also like the long cord. My old stapler had a 6 inch cord and would constantly come unplugged. I'm very happy with my new stapler which I should be. IT'S AN ARROW!

Great tool

One problem - instructions how to insert staples are unclear. We tried to load them the "office way" - sliding them in - does not work. Only after checking the web, we figured out they just need to be dropped in the upside down stapler. The picture in the manual and instruction regarding this are not clear.
Other than that - great tool!
