[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to do a kitchen chair upholstery job. a. I used 1/4" 6MM staples and the gun would not drive them thru the upholstery and the plywood completely. I am stuck with it and hope I will be able to use on other projects
Pros: Upholstery
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello - We're sorry to hear that you aren't happy with your T50ACD staple gun. This tool has a contact safety feature that requires you to place the tip fully onto the work surface and depress the contact safety on the front of the tool before you push the trigger to fire a staple. You must pick up the front of the tool and reactivate the contact safety for each shot.

Here's a link to the manual for more information on use and features: http://bit.ly/t50acd-manual. - Your Arrow Fastener Team

The T50ACD worked well when I recovered the seat on my golf cart. Plenty of power to drive the staples all of the way in.
I have arthritis in my hands and it is very hard for me to squeeze the manual stapler. T his will get used alot.
Pros: Upholstery
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have arthritis in my hands and it is very hard for me to usa a regular staple gun. I have used other stapler guns before but they never had enough power to drive the staples all the way home. This one works great!
Pros: Upholstery

I had a craftsman electrical stapler previously and when it bit the dust after 20 years I decided to try the arrow. Much easier to load staples and functions very well. It took my a little while to adjust to the delay when you pull the trigger but once I was used to it I really like it. The on off switch is also convenient. I would purchase again.
Pros: insulation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a very similar project to one already posted here. We reupholstered our dining room chair seats. The originals were an eggshell color which began to show stains and spill marks as our grandchildren grew up. So we used fabric left over from a reupholster job done on our living room sofa three years ago. Now everything matches. We started the job by making a template for the chair seats, detached the seats from the chair frames, and began to staple the fabric to the seat frames with an old T50 we found in the garage. It didn't drive the 3/8" staples into the hardwood seat frames all the way as my wife stretched the fabric over the existing. So we opted to upgrade to the electric plug-in version of the T50. We cut our worktime by 80% and are delighted with the finished chairs.
Pros: Upholstery
