Wonderful Cleaning Implement!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Cordless Detect Pro Auto Empty System is a staple in keeping my house clean and tidy! It works well on various surfaces (eg, carpet/rugs, tile, hardwood floors), and can get in corners and under furniture with ease. I find it extremely convenient and love that I don't need to breathe the dust and dander that accumulate in the canister when emptying. Truly a "smart" vacuum in sensing dirt, lightweight, long lasting battery, and no hair wrap on the self-cleaning brushroll.

The best overall vacuum I've used!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Shark Cordless Detect Pro Auto-Empty System for a month now, and I'm really impressed with it. One of my favorite features of this vacuum is the roller brush. It is really smartly designed and perfect for both carpeted and non-carpeted areas. It even did an excellent job of picking up crumbs from the grout lines of my tiled kitchen floor. The best part is that it is designed to slide out with the push of a button for easy cleaning. Anyone who has struggled with cutting long hair wrapped around a vacuum roller and trying to remove pet fur lodged behind the roller will understand how welcome this feature is. That being said, I have long hair, and a long-haired cat, and I haven't had to remove any hair wrap yet. I truly love this vacuum for making my life easier! I had cat nip in my carpet for about a week, so it was really smooshed in there. This Shark Cordless Detect Pro sucked it all up in one pass!
I also like the Clean Sense IQ technology. It uses sensors to detect dirt and debris, and then it automatically increases the suction power to get a deeper clean. This is really helpful for areas where I know there's a lot of dirt, especially carpeted areas, where it's very helpful for picking up pet hair and dust but helps keep the battery charged longer by using a regular setting automatically on lightly dusty areas.
The Auto-Empty System is really neat. After the dust canister is full, I just slip it into the charger/collection dock, it makes a nice little chime and sucks the dust and dirt right out into the collection bin.This means that I don't have to empty the vacuum as often as other cordless vacuums. The Odor Neutralizer Technology on the charging/emptying station is a nice bonus. It keeps my room smelling fresh.
I am extremely happy and truly impressed with the Shark Cordless Detect Pro Auto-Empty System. It is a truly powerful vacuum that does an excellent job, better than my full-size vacuum on non-carpeted areas for picking up pet hair, dust, crumbs, and dirt from both hard floors and carpets. It's powerful, lightweight, easy-to-use, and easy-to-maneuver. It does a great job of cleaning my home and makes my life much easier. I will definitely be recommending it to everyone looking for a new vacuum.

Very Convenient and Charges Quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never had a cordless vacuum before and was excited but wary to give this one a shot. I typically like Shark vacuums and this one ended up being no exception. It's very easy to put together, just make sure you have space and an outlet to plug up the stand so the vacuum can charge between uses. I haven't got an exact timing on it yet, but I know ow the vacuum charges from empty to full in under 3 hours and possibly much less. My house is around 1900 sf and I was able to vacuum upstairs and downstairs on a single charge, but I had to use the eco setting for a good chunk of the time. The boost setting drains a LOT of battery life and even the smart detect setting drains pretty fast too. That is my only complaint about the cordless is that if you need a lot of high suction for long periods, it doesn't perform as well as a corded vacuum. It is however way more convenient than the corded as I don't have to continuously plug and unplug to reach all areas. The small profile also allowed me to use it on my stairs and under harder to reach areas like under the sofa which my other vacuum can't do. I was suprised to see that there was no hair or strings wrapped around the brush when I was done vacuuming; I guess this design helps to prevent those from wrapping around and collecting on the brush, which is awesome. The self emptying feature is just one more item that makes this vacuum more convenient than other stick vacuums if you get tired of emptying after every use.
I would say if you have a lot of hard surface flooring this should work for you fine and work as a time saver, but a lot of carpeted areas is probably not the best choice. I'm personally pretty happy with it.

Dog Hair Gone

I’ve bought about 5 different vacuums over the last few months. I have a Chow Chow and her fur is really dense. It would wrap and clog the Dyson V15 and wouldn’t move on carpet , the Shark Stratos would get hair wrap, & miscellaneous others just couldn’t get the hair up. This one however has been incredibly good. No clogs yet. No hair wrap. The self emptying charger is a game changer. If you have pets don’t hesitate on this one.

I haven’t run the battery out while using it but I have been able to clean my home without any issues. We get a lot of dust since our home is older but it’s picked up any dust in the edges and corners very well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have put this vacuum to the test, hard vinyl flooring, laminate, carpeting and throw rugs and it performs beautifully. The self detect feature works pretty good and adjusts motor speed in accordance with dirt conditions to maximize on battery efficiency. My favorite feature is the self cleaning docking/charging station that stores the vacuumed contents for up to a 30 day capacity. The process includes filtering the exhaust flow through a scented filter so there are no foul odors. Lightweight and extremely maneuverable, great for all surfaces and staircases. This was intended to be our secondary vacuum, however it is so convenient it has become our primary vacuum cleaner

Great Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, it's a great vacuum. It has plenty of power for carpets, but works great on hard floors too, clean both quite well. I like the light weight, maneuverability, and the ergonomics of the handle, it makes cleaning with it quite easy. The self emptying/ charging stand is a nice addition, it empties the vac completely, and the holding bin is quite large and easy to empty. The odor neutralizing tab on the bit is interesting, since I don't have pets it's probably a bit less needed for me, but I could certainly see it being needed for those who are vacuuming up thing that would build up smell over time. It makes cleaning my house a bit easier than my old vacuum and I'd definitely recommended it.
