New router

Easy to install new router needed for added security for a home network. Cable service provides modem-router but question security of system and also ability of system to reach all areas in and outside the house (patio, garage, etc.). This system did improve connectivity in these areas above the modem-router device and it still allows guests to use the cable network and not have to inadvertently affect the home network.

I bought this unit assuming I'd get better coverage. Setup using all the settings I had previously on older unit. Not getting better coverage at all. In fact, there seems to be an increase in loss of internet connection. Not happy with the setup instructions. still working on setup, will have to call support. SAD.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Rocky start, but good now!

Had the RAX50 router for 1 wk. Had numerous connection issues to my 2.4ghz devices, but tech support solved the issues and now it seems all works well. Hopefully the road ahead will be much smoother and I can enjoy all the great features.
