Replace the Spectrum router with your Nighthawk RAX50 router. Could not believe the improvement that came to my Wi-Fi with your router. Recommend to all spectrum users to replace their router with this one.

Cons and Pros of AX5400 WiFi 6 Router

Pros:
.Using the Nighthawk on Android to set up the router is quite easy no issues.
.For more advanced settings go into the default gateway no issues there.
.Setting up port forwarding was easy.
.Using the Armor security functionality gave me good peace of mind and protection from potential threats.
.Setting up a USB SSD storage drive is pretty easy as long it's formatted to FAT32.
.My wireless VR experience using WI-FI 6 is so much better.
.Using the Nighthawk on Android to set up the router is quite easy no issues.

.NETGEAR still doesn't have a 2.5GB Lan option.

.NETGEAR still does not support exFAT USB SSD you have to use FAT32.

Efficient and fast

Setup was a bit trickier than your typical plug-n-play, and the router is slightly larger than my old router but can’t complain about speed, connectivity and control. Stellar upgrade.

Switched back from a mesh, no regrets!

I've been using a mesh for several years, and after purchasing and returning all the bad experiments, I switched back to a traditional router. The mesh system would routinely drop to 30-40mbps despite speeds available being 400mbps. I tried a different mesh with similar results and finally decided to opt for the ax5400. The router is located in one corner of the house, but despite that I have full 5g signal across the entire house! With my 400mbps service, I am receiving over 250mbps from the furthest possible point in my home. This had been game changer for all of my smart devices and TVs. Highly recommend.
