The app did everything - and correctly. I installed the router and increased my cable speed. Even the smart TV in the basement works perfectly. No need for the extender that I had installed

Top Performance

I replace my internet providers router with the Netgear Nighthawk. With the providers router the best I could get intermittently was 250mbs to our second floor. I installed the Nighthawk and was about to get and maintain 450mbs to our second floor. No comparison it is well worth the money. Also I no longer have to pay monthly router rental.

Using a ISP provided router paying for a 1 gig plan only getting 20-50 MB got the rax50 and cm2000 and boom getting 800-900 mpbs

Increased speed

After initial install I ran the speed test on my cell phone and got a 243 Mb download speed. Did a new download of 6.5 Gb on my X Box X in 2.5 min. The install was very easy using my cell phone.

Nighthawk app needed QR

The router works fine and I am able to connect with 5G throughout my home. I had problems with the Nighthawk App needing a QR code. My RAX50 didn’t have one and the app didn’t allow me to manually enter the information. A request to Netgear did not produce a QR code from them either. Why they cannot they provide a simple QR for their products when it is required by their App; I don’t know.
