Ultimate WiFi 6 Powerhouse

After setting up the Nighthawk AX5400 in my 2,400 sq ft home, I've been consistently impressed by its performance. The WiFi 6 speeds are remarkable - I'm getting close to my full gigabit internet speeds on compatible devices, even two floors away from the router.
What really stands out is how it handles multiple devices. Between our family's laptops, phones, smart home devices, and gaming consoles (often all running simultaneously), the AX5400 doesn't break a sweat. The six-stream configuration makes a noticeable difference in preventing any slowdowns during peak usage times.
The setup process was surprisingly straightforward through the Nighthawk app. I particularly appreciate the built-in security features and parental controls, which let me manage screen time and content access for my kids' devices without any additional subscriptions.
The four ethernet ports deliver solid wired performance for my home office setup and gaming PC. Speaking of gaming, the dedicated gaming port with QoS optimization has noticeably reduced latency in online games.
Coverage is excellent - no more dead zones in the corners of my house or out on the patio. The beamforming technology really seems to make a difference in directing the signal where it's needed.
While it's not the cheapest router out there, the performance, features, and reliability make it worth every penny. If you're looking to future-proof your home network and get consistent, fast speeds across all your devices, the Nighthawk AX5400 is an excellent choice.

As advertised. Relatively easy setup. ISP increased speed, old router would not handle it. The RAX50 enabled the ability to access the new, faster speed.

My old Netgear R7000 router served me well for many years but had started dropping wi-fi (especially 5G band) almost daily for a minute or so each time. After much online research I decided to try the RAX50. The R7000 gave good coverage throughout our 3300 sq ft house but I was concerned about the range of the RAX50 since it's advertised as suitable for up to 2500 sq ft. My concerns were unfounded as the new router provides a stronger signal and significantly faster speeds on both the 2.4G and 5G bands to every room in the house and even outside to our whole-home backup generator. I've only had the router for a few weeks but there have been zero wi-fi drops. Regarding speed, I have a 600 mbps internet plan but was getting less than 400 mbps with the R7000 on the 5G band. I could get the max speed only with a wired ethernet connection. I now get wi-fi speeds of 600 - 650 mbps everywhere in the house.
Set up was straightforward once I did the initial setup with the Nighthawk app and followed up with the web access for more customizations.
Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.
