Extremely fast With Great Range!

Easy setup and great features! Excellent 5G range in a 2 level 2800 square foot home. Fast internet, even with over ten linked devices. Gaming and streaming HD are not a problem for this unit. Would recommend this to any user looking for a reasonably priced, hot rod router for whole home use.

not as good as my old ac1900

Thought i was upgrading but the signal is not as strong as my old nighthawk ac1900 even on the 2.4ghz band. i bought a “mesh” range extender (also netgear) to go with it and it was a pain to set up. had a lot of trial and error with different settings and locations. i blame the extender for most of the confusion. The automatic switching from 2.4ghz to 5ghz option on the router would not work with the range extender so i had to set it to be separate. Still can’t use 5ghz on my phone because the range is so much shorter and doesn’t reach to the areas i was hoping for. i did get wifi 6 5g to my living room tv, which was the main goal of upgrading i guess. every 2 days or so since i’ve gotten this i’ve had to do hard resets on the router. old router was maybe once per month. as far as quality goes, i feel this was a downgrade from my old ac1900 nighthawk router.
