great coverage

I have went years with a router modem from my provider coverage was always poor but i didnt realize how much untill we installed this RAX50 I have coverage in my 2800 Sqft house and my entire 1 acre yard outsanding product if your in the marked I deffinetly recommend!

Good Device; Netgear Account Required

I don’t have issues with the device itself; it works well. The app control experience isn’t that great for me because I had to register for an online Netgear account to be able to control the device, even locally, with the app. It wasn’t an option, it was a requirement. It was inconvenient having to provide my information when I really should not have to. Linksys routers compatible with their app allow you to use the app locally without having to register for an online account.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for the feedback on the app and account creation. The app requires a NETGEAR Account. Creating a MyNETGEAR account allows you to register NETGEAR products, post to the NETGEAR Community, and receive email support and product offers. If you choose not to create an account you can manually set up your router: https://kb.netgear.com/978/Completely-avoiding-the-Smart-Wizard
