Does not meet expectations

The RAX50 should be, out of the box, one of the top of the line routers out there. It does not perform that way and offer the new User lots of hours of troubleshooting to perform. The advanced features like OFDMA cause the router lose connection to often. I performed a firmware upgrade and it bricked the router. Another couple of hours to get TFTP2 method to restore it and load the newest firmware. Just really unfortunate performance.

Wifi Page loading is slow.

2.4G Wifi always auto disconnected.
Full wifi signal but can't connect to internet.(I confirmed the internet is working)
Need to wait 40 second for a Wifi setup page
Each time click "Apply" need to wait at least 1 min during the setup.
No label on the antenna about the rear and side
Actually my old 3 antenna wifi signal is much better than this.
App not included all the web function.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve been messing around with different routers for a while now and I think I’ve finally found one that works perfectly. Flawless streaming on multiple devices and has the range potential of a radio tower (just kidding) not really haha. I thought it was overpriced but I figured why not give it a shot and realized that it was underpriced for the impeccable performance it’s been giving me. Truly the best router I’ve ever laid my hands on.

We needed to replace our old router because we kept losing connection. I only wish we would have gotten this one sooner! It has completely eliminated our connection issues and has increased the speed on our devices ! I definitely recommend this router

Great 5G 2.4ghz keeps dropping randomly

Bought this in September 2020 after my old router failed after 5 years. The nighthawk 5G works great. However the 2.4 Ghz network constantly drops and requires a reboot to work again. With a lot of alexa plugs and neat robot vacuumes requiring 2.4, this has become a huge inconvenience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best ever had

It is a fantastic router that easily handles all the devices in the house; 2 cell phones, a laptop, an iPad, a desktop, thermostat, Directv, all the apps, security system and cameras and an Apple Watch. Now that’s a great router.
