Best Router Ever

This is the zillionth time ive bought a router expecting it to perform decently well. This router blew all my expectations out of the water. Not only does it boost my internet downloading and uploading speeds, but it also blocks malfare and other potentially dangerous sites from all of my connected and compatible devices. It started with just the router, but now that i see how well it performs im definitely going to get the latest modem from NETGEAR as well.

This router works great. Configuration took a little while with modem and the instructions were limited. Still the range and the speed are sufficient.

I have had fiber optic internet for the past 3 years but never justified the cost to upgrade to a router that would really take advantage of the potential. Now that my wife has been working from home over the last year (thanks Covid) the cost for a new router was finally justified. This router not only boosted my speeds to an average of 500 Mbps up and down but it also reaches every corner of my fairly large house. The old router barely reached the office and now my wife is the one getting annoyed with her coworkers for having crappy internet. Oh how the tables have turned, thanks NETGEAR. Also worth noting that the app makes setup and managing your router a breeze.

Better than what I had...

Installed with new Netgear modem looking for improved speed and range. the speed improved, but the range is a let down based on the numbers I saw while researching my up graded WiFi network.

Overall very good except distance

Easy to setup, used the web browser which is better than the limited options in the App. Very good unit except range in my 40 year old 3 story home. Will try moving to middle of middle floor if I can find a discreet but exposed spot as the range wont reach upstairs rear bedroom yet all my OTHER NETGEAR routers do, so this seems odd.
