a router ready for future

Bought a new netgear router, the rax50. Installation had some difficulties (nighthawk was not working on xiaomi a1 2.4 ghz), so went back to genie (please keep it). After that it went smooth. On two elder products, my mobile phone and lenovo laptop, the 2.4 ghz didnot work. Switch out the ax option and after that it went alright. Typical that you cannot use the ax option on and older devices.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Upgraded to fiber optic internet. Router has quality range and signal strength. Only knock is the app fails to connect at times while on wifi when doing speed test

Set-up was straight forward. I experienced no difficulty in connecting to my cable modem and was on line with multiple devices in less than 20 minutes.

Excellent speed and very convenient app

I am a loyal customer of netgear. After upgrading our router, we have very stable internet, excellent speed, and a very convenient app to monitor devices usage. I would say it is a must-have during WFH.
