Problem with Ethernet port

Had to exchange product after two weeks of working with tech support to see if I could get it to work with Google Webpass. Turns out it had a bad ethernet port. Ended up buying a second less expensive Netgear router and was set up in minutes.

Nighthawk AX 6 offered no improvement over a nighthawk unit 5 years older. It was returned for a mesh network system

5Ghz disconnecting

I bought two of the same models and still had the same issue: Whenever I enable QOS, the 5Ghz wifi band constantly disconnects from the internet. Anything connected to the 2.4ghz wifi band or connected by Ethernet does not have this issue.

Awful

Replaced older night hawk r7500v2, with samba server, this router had half the range and threatened to remove security features after 1 year unless 99 a month subscription paid. Couldn't even go 100ft in g mode, free WiFi 6 router from isp was far superior. Tried everything from changing channels, no samba support in ready share final blow. I've always used netgear products and I know better than to deal with their horrid and rude support and this was unsolicited spam, I didn't ask to be contacted. Hours of my time wasted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an old netgear system with the RAX50. We had a family gathering with 30 members showing up. This system handled the increased traffic without a hitch. Very good buy and happy with the performance.

This is my second Netgear router in five years. Their products are reliable, which is why when my previous one was outdated, I chose to upgrade to the next level. My wifi signal is strong and can connect easily to my devices. The set up for this model was sooo easy. I feel confident about the level of service and security.
