Fast ship got as discribed good as new after performing a reset. Only setback was setting up. As router stil had personal info, passwords, and usernames to overcome and re configuration was needed for router to function properly, used nighthawk app from Netgear to set up as if it was brand new. Happy with purchase and a good buy..

My old Netgear R7000 router served me well for many years but had started dropping wi-fi (especially 5G band) almost daily for a minute or so each time. After much online research I decided to try the RAX50. The R7000 gave good coverage throughout our 3300 sq ft house but I was concerned about the range of the RAX50 since it's advertised as suitable for up to 2500 sq ft. My concerns were unfounded as the new router provides a stronger signal and significantly faster speeds on both the 2.4G and 5G bands to every room in the house and even outside to our whole-home backup generator. I've only had the router for a few weeks but there have been zero wi-fi drops. Regarding speed, I have a 600 mbps internet plan but was getting less than 400 mbps with the R7000 on the 5G band. I could get the max speed only with a wired ethernet connection. I now get wi-fi speeds of 600 - 650 mbps everywhere in the house.
Set up was straightforward once I did the initial setup with the Nighthawk app and followed up with the web access for more customizations.
Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

Netgear RAX50 Router

As advertised. Relatively easy setup. ISP increased speed, old router would not handle it. The RAX50 enabled the ability to access the new, faster speed.
