Great reception and speed right next to it, but it claims 2500 sqft and doesn’t reach the other end of my house. But half the house gets solid signal.

ASUS Out - Nighthawk In

I needed to replace an ASUS 3100 router that had failed after several years of service and after researching the marketplace chose the Nighthawk AX5400.
Network speed, ease of setup, ease to add additional devices to my network and range were factors in my decision. I have not been disappointed with my choice.
I found setup to be fast and easy as the Nighthawk app guided me through the few steps and I was quickly connected.
The ease of splitting 2G and 5G networks made connection of devices to my network quick and painless. The app provides a powerful and straightforward method to manage and monitor my network.
I immediately experienced a 60% improvement in network speed. The cable modem was the same so the improvement was clearly attributed to my new NETGEAR Nighthawk AX6 5400 router. I used both the Nighthawk speed test and independent utilities to test my internal speeds. They confirmed the improved speed.
If you are in the market for a new or improved router I would highly recommended the NETGEAR products and specifically the Nighthawk AX5400.

ASUS Out - Nighthawk In

My older ASUS 3100 router failed and I researched a new router. I chose the NETGEAR Nighthawk AS5400 and couldn’t be happier. The install and setup went quickly and smoothly using the Nighthawk app and my iPhone. I was able to connect all of my home devices quickly and without issues. Splitting the 2.5 and 5 networks was easy and allowed quick connections.the bonus came when I checked the network speed and I saw a 50% increase in network speed. Since I was using the same cable modem this improvement was due to the Nighthawk. I checked speed with both the Blackhawk app and independent speed checks and they were both in synch.
I would recommend this router. It reaches all rooms in our three bedroom house as well as my security devices outside.

Excellent!

Very satisfied. Returned the mesh WiFi I got because the speeds were no better than my old router and each deco only had 2 e the Ethernet ports. The RAX50 gives me gig speeds throughout my house and I can connect all my Ethernet lines.
