True to description and reviews. We researched several trusted sites that rated this router. It performs great. We have a 2500 sq ft home and we now have wifi in every room. Installation was easy and quick. I highly recommend!

Blows away optimum equipment

Was getting tired of my 1 gig fiber Network that optimum provided me on Long Island. Removed all the extenders bought this beauty connected my modem to her shut off the Wi-Fi on the optimum modem and now my speeds are averaging constant around 890 to 950 download speed for Wi-Fi or hardwired

NightHawk AX5400

We bought the Netgear NightHawk AX5400 router recently because our old router just wasn't doing the job. Since installing this new router, our speeds have been so great and we've been able to do all the streaming and browsing we want! We can have multiple devices online all at once and the service is still great with no lag. This router reaches throughout our whole home unlike our old router. The NightHawk app allows us to see all the devices currently connected and gives us the ability to block those devices for any given time if needed. The NightHawk app gives you complete remote access from anywhere, you don't have to be in range of the router/at home.

Replaced my old router with the nighthawk. Easy setup . No problems. I don’t recommend their security software as that gave us connection issues. After disabling we have had no problems! I recommend this router

The device was difficult to set up using the app so I resorted to using the web interface, which was worse as it was locked in a Chinese locale, with pop ups I couldn’t understand. Returned the device since I wasn’t able to use it.
