A huge upgrade

We previously had an older Netgear Nighthawk model that was starting to have issues. Luckily, when searching for a replacement, we ended up finding the AX5400, which not only worked as a replacement, but as an upgrade as well. The wifi speed ended up improving thanks to wifi 6 and the 5 GHz network was now able to reach the living room, giving those who used their computers in that room a better connection than when they only had the 2.4 GHz network. I highly recommend this router for anyone looking for an upgrade to wifi 6.

Good ... But maybe outdated?

I had this new in the box sitting in storage awaiting my next move. I just set it up and have had so many problems - worst being I cannot contact customer service! Although I just broke the seal three days ago, it's stating my complimentary period for service has expired, as has my warranty 😮💨. I'm not sure what to do with this thing now - it's working but sporadic, reading incorrect signals and not updating as it should. It was 'top of the line' when I purchased it ... But now it seems it's obsolete and not supported by many devices.
