We purchased the Nighthawk so we would have a strong router for our cameras, Wi-Fi, etc. This router was simple to set up and has been working very well for us and our needs.

Works with CM2000 but not CM600

The instructions in the app were clear enough and easy to follow, but I first installed my new AX6 (RAX50) router with my existing Netgear CM600 cable modem and had major issues--couldn't get a wireless connection on any of several devices. This was very frustrating. Replaced the CM600 with a Netgear Nighthawk CM2000 cable modem and everything worked fine the first time.

Pleased with the RAX50 as it is covering a better area throughout our home with many different rooms and two floors. Currently providing service as good as the fiber optics we had in the home.

Works great, Like App

I used to be annoyed by having to use apps but I have grown fond of them. You can do the entire set up from your phone. Set wifi names and passwords, monitor set up access restrictions, etc. I had never done this before and had everything set up within an hour.
