Ineffective on pet hair

Overall this vacuum is fine. It works best on hard flooring, but I have not had a good experience with pet hair on rugs. It simply pushes the hair around and I end up having to pick it up after vacuuming… kind of defeats the purpose. Being that is the only reason I upgraded to this model, it will go back. Pretty disappointed at this price point.

Time Saver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently used this vacuum, and it has exceeded all my expectations! This vacuum is such a compact and lightweight tool to help keep my home clean.
I really like the detect feature and find it helps to simplify my cleaning routine. Gone are the days of having to manually adjust for different flooring levels. I also love how it automatically boosts power on hidden dirt and increases suction on edges and corners. This eliminates extra passes for super trafficked areas of my home.
My absolute favorite aspect of this vacuum is its cordless design. It is also very lightweight, which allows me to tackle my entire downstairs area without searching for a cord. I just don’t think I could ever go back to a corded cleaner after using this model. I find that the battery is sufficient to clean my lower level on a single charge without a loss of suction or power. My older children are also able to operate this machine easily, which helps when they need to clean up a quick mess.
If you're looking for a versatile vacuum that will make cleaning easier and faster, look no further.

Every home should have a shark pro detect

It’s light weight and very stylish looking! It was very easy to assemble and lightweight! I love everything about it!

Best battery powered vacuum EVER!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are so many pros to the Shark Detect Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum with QuadClean Multi-Surface Brushroll that I am no sure where to begin!
I love how light this vacuum is and how easy it is to maneuver all over my house. Despite its lightweight, this vacuum packs a powerful suction! The suction power can be felt as you maneuver through different flooring. I have a combination of hardwood, throw rugs and carpet throughout my house and I can feel the suction difference in each one. On hardwood with suction is light but does a great job of picking up the dirt and dog hair. When switching to the rugs and carpet, the suction power changes and you can feel the power immediately. When vacuuming over areas with more dirt, the detect pro light at the top of the vacuum indicates that more attention is needed in that area by changing colors from blue to yellow or red. This lets me know that I need to give this area a little more attention.
One of my favorite features of this vacuum is the edge detect! All suction power moves to the side of the vacuum that is against the edge/baseboard area to ensure a deep clean in those hard to reach spaces. The front light will indicate which side the suction is on and the suction power changes to a little higher, all without having to manually change anything on the vacuum yourself! This is the smartest vacuum I have ever used!
The dirt bin holds quite a bit of dirt! More than several other stick vacuums I have owned. The bin is easy to open in order to clean out the dirt/debris. It's easy to wash out and keep clean. I love that I don't have to change any filters, just wash and let dry before the next use!
The LED display is simple and easy to read. I don't like a lot of buttons or features to have to push every time I go to vacuum. The battery life display is easy to read. You can chose from ECO, AUTO or BOOST modes with a quick click but I leave it on AUTO and let the vacuum decide what it needs to do.
The battery life gives me about 45 minutes of vacuum time with is plenty for me. It charges back up pretty quickly, usually in about 2.5-3 hours.
I really can't say enough good things about the Shark Detect Pro! I would highly recommend everyone have one of these in the homes!

Very easy to maneuver especially in those hard to get crevices. The light helps on my dark hardwood floors as well, you don't always see the dirt on them. Wonderful vaccum
