[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Shark Cordless Detect Pro! The vacuum is lightweight, and its technology helps detect hidden dirt, detect edges, detects floor type & light detect and it reacts to every cleaning situation for deeper cleaning. The Shark Detect Pro was easy to put together and it is so easy to use. It's so powerful removing dirt from both my carpets & hard floors. It can easily convert to a hand vac which is a feature I find so useful. This is the only vacuum you'll ever need. It's easy to charge and I love that the vacuum is freestanding for easy storage. I also love that you can charge its battery with the battery in the vacuum but it also gives you the option of removing the battery to charge on its own. The Shark Cordless Detect Pro Is the most powerful vacuum I have ever used and has my carpets and hard floors looking amazing! I highly recommend it.

Great on Difficult Carpets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was wonderfully surprised that it will vacuum carpets-rugs that I have a difficult time with other vacuums. In particular, I have a hallway rug that absolutely will not allow a vacuum to clean it. The Shark Detect Pro Stick Vacuum glides right over it picking up every bit crumbs, dust, and dirt. I am thrilled. It may go without saying but the roller is awesome because number 1. no hair nor strings nor anything wraps around it. I have many times over the years had to take a sharp knife and cut hair and strings off from vacuum rollers. No more! The Detect Pro does not allow that to happen. 2. Light weight. No more struggling to push a heavy vacuum. 3. No drag. Glides smoothly over floors, carpets, throw rugs. 4. Handheld option, is the best ever on a vacuum. So simple to remove and attach. 5. Easy charge option. May charge it with the handheld on the stick vac or off the stick vac. 6. Easy empty. Very simple to empty the dirt container. There is a lot to appreciate with this vacuum and I could go on and on listing, just like how easy it is to vacuum under furniture. The slim design makes it easy to store most anywhere. Plus, there is not a lot of useless tools that are cumbersome, fall off, get in the way. One very handy tool that attaches to the handheld with a simple click. Absolutely fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really loving this lightweight cordless stick vacuum with QuadClean multi-surface Brushroll, it really really deep clean my tile floors and carpet areas. It has a Hepa Filter and Anti- allergen complete seal that captures and seal almost 100% dust and allergens. It’s converts to a hand Vac to clean my hard to reach places. It also comes with a 8in crevice tool that works great on my sliding glass doors rails. This product change colors when area is clean with real-time Mode selection and Better level. I got almost 35mins runtime. It’s easy to use and does a great job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently recieved this product in exchange for my honest review. I couldn't be more happy to review a product of this quality. This is a great vacuum, but like anything it isn't perfect. The pro's of this vacuum are as follows. I will say that the slender built makes it light weight and portable. Very easy to carry from room to room. It is Cordless so no wrapping heavy cords, getting them tangled or caught on furniture, and it's one less thing I have to worry about when it comes to pets chewing on things they shouldn't be. This vacuum offers great suction power picking up dirt with ease. This is very important because we live off the river and there is A LOT of sand that is tracked in by both humans and pets alike. The swivel head provides easy access around furniture and corners and my back thanks Shark very much for that! There is no moving furniture to vacuum around things with this feature. It has a light to help you see what's front of the vacuum before you accidentally run over something you should and the "detect" feature is awesome! There is a round light on the vacuum head that switches from green, orange, and red, as well, to let you know it "sees" an object you should look out for. This vacuum does a great job per say, but on the the con's. The dust cup is very small leaving me CONSTANTLY having to remove cup to empty it. I can easily make 2 or more trips to empty the dust cup just vacuuming the living room. If I'm vacuuming the entire house this can leaving me spending more time emptying the dust cup than I prefer. I feel like this slows the entire process down by at least 1/3. Also this vacuum is not the best for pet hair either. While it will pick it up it will either get stuck been the suction hole at the bottom of the vacuum or at the hole leading to the dust cup and before you know it it has spit it all back out along with dirt onto your freshly vacuumed carpet in a matter of minutes. I find this to be the most worrisome draw back. I would rate this vacuum a 4 out of 5 starts simply because it IS an awesome vacuum, but probably not the best fit for our 3 dog family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new The Shark Cordless Detect Pro Vacuum Stick! It's powerful, simple to use, and versatile. It is so much easier now to maintain a clean home. This vacuum is easy to maneuver around the house and lightweight. It has the ability to boost power when it encounters hidden dirt and increase suction on edges and corners. Additionally, it automatically adapts from hardwood to carpet. Oh, and surprisingly, there's no hair tangled around the brush (people with long hair or pets will know this struggle)! Also, I really appreciate the anti-allergen complete seal feature of this vacuum cleaner. My son suffers from allergies, and this feature makes it easier for me to clean without worrying about allergens getting scattered around. The battery runtime of this vacuum is enough to clean a mid-sized home on a single charge.

The worst vacuum I've ever purchased.

I bought the Shark Detect Pro three days ago. It could not disappoint me any more. I have a toddler and two cats in a relatively small apartment, so crumbs/litter end up EVERYWHERE. It does NOT pick up any of the litter whatsoever. It just pushes it around. I turned up the power full blast, and it would get a few granules and just push the rest around. I lift up the vacuum and it just spews a bunch of litter everywhere. The same thing happens as I turn it off. This item is awful.

Lightweight and easy to handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shark® Detect Pro™ Cordless Stick Vacuum with QuadClean™ Multi-Surface Brushroll is lightweight and easy to handle. The vacuum maneuvers very well going between carpet and bare floors. It has a decent amount of suction for what is needed to go between the two types of flooring too. I detects when there is more dust in an area and revs up to have more suction. I like to set it to high in certain arenas versa going back and forth between ramping up on its own. The batter u does die a lot quicker than I thought it would, but turning off the automatic ramp up has helped with that.

Fantastic suction

- suction is amazing! It even picked up marble sized pieces of dog treats that had spilled from a bag!!
- I like that it senses how much dirt so it uses less battery power when possible and ramps up automatically as it needs more power. This helps extend the battery' charge life.
- It's not too loud, the cat sits and watches me instead of running from the noise
- The battery life lasts thru a whole house sweep.
- I love that I can just put up the hand held piece for quick spot cleaning
- It pulls itself along the carpet when in full size mode, it had considerable power

- The book on the side, to hang the hand held piece for charging, is just a hook... It doesn't actually hug the handle of the machine so it's just hanging there waiting to get knocked off. Terrible design.

Overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives. I'm still impressed that this thing eats large Legos (not purposely), dog treats and cat hair without problems. It has a lot of power and cleans well!
