This is an excellent modem. The first we have owned without having to rent. Set up was easy after contacting our service provider. We have very reliable connections now and increased speed!

Great Router No issues so far

The router installed easily and my ISP provides eero mesh wifi hardware for the house works seamlessly. The only issue I had was my own fault when I saw the images of the ports on the back I assumed that the 4 ports were Routed Ethernet Lan ports. They are not. To get additional Hard wire ethernet ports I had to buy a un-managed gigabit switch and connect it to the open Lan port on the eero base hub. Doing that eliminated all my issues. Netgear Support was eventually able to make me understand what they were saying but because the support engineer spoke English as a second language it was difficult initially to understand his explanation. But he was persistent and did follow the next day to be sure my issue was resolved.

Impressively Fast Speeds

I have been looking forward to the chance to purchase a NETGEAR modem for well over a year. Finally, my cable contract expired, allowing me the opportunity to do so, and I immediately navigated to NETGEAR.com. I did the research and confirmed the compatibility amongst the different modems before making my decision. The CM1200 got delivered within a couple of days from the time I placed the order. After a speedy and easy setup, I spent less than five minutes with technical support activating my service, and I was off to the races. Compared to the speeds I had previously been getting, there was a noticeable difference right away. Later that day, after finally running a speed test, the outcome was so unbelievable that I tested it again. I had no clue that our internet had the capability of speeds almost 10x faster than accomplished with our previous modem. I highly recommend this modem for anyone who happens to be looking to be impressed.

Solid Performance

This modem performs extremely well. My ISP is cox cable and plug and play is all that is required. It pairs well with my Netgear AX5 router making for a seemless connection using wired and wireless activity. My speeds are incredible; in most case higher than my paid service. This is a very reliable modem.

What speed!

Paid for 500gb service and never saw more than 150 in use. With this modem I am consistently over 450gb. Amazing!
