Fail: Upstream Via Spectrum on CM1200

I bought this 3 months ago and now the Upstream just blinks forever. In fact, it's still plugged in and has been that way for 2 weeks now, nothing but blinking. Spectrum says it Netgear and Netgear says it Spectrum. 7 Spectrum Tech, New Lines, new cable, and still nothing. So now I have an expensive paperweight!!!!

Netgear CM1200 cable modem

Modem worked okay for 4 months, it would occasionally lose connection but I wasn’t sure if it was Comcast or modem. Then this month, May, it’s fourth month, it started to lose connection intermittently all day. Then it would lose connection for hours. Had to call Comcast because I thought it was their problem. Didn’t think a modem would stop working then start again. Comcast tech came out and checked lines and said it had to be the modem. I still had my old modem so he reinstalled it for me and everything’s been working fine since. It’s not as fast as the 1200 but it’s more reliable. The only reason I replaced it was to get the higher speed. Netgear did replace the 1200 but I haven’t installed it yet. Not sure if I want to. Although they replaced it under warranty, I had to pay postage to return it, not an insignificant cost when you’re on a fixed income.

Amazing speed fast speed

This modem Nighthawk CM1200 I really recommend highly do it’s so blasting fast I have the 1000mbps plan with xfinity it doesn’t even load at all it just goes right on in the site when I click enter it’s so fast I’m in love with my purchase keep it up Netgear I’m also running it with a Nighthawk x5400 router them both together are fire
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not so fast

I was having issues with my surfboard modem, would drop signal all the time but was fast!
I replaced it with CM1200 and it's a solid connection but I cant get it to go above 30 ish mbps...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Finally getting Bandwidth

I replaced the “leased” modem from my internet provider after months of complaints that they were not providing true gig internet service. After installing the Netgear modem and Nighthawk router, I am finally getting true gig internet speeds.
